Royal Enfield Nepal has launched a special off-road track event for the Himalayan 450 behind their showroom in Teku, Kathmandu. This unique event allows riders to navigate the Himalayan 450 through a challenging track filled with heavy slush, inclines, and obstacles.
Alpha Automotive, the sole authorised distributor of Royal Enfield in Nepal, recently launched the Himalayan 450 in Nepal, with prices starting at Rs 9.89 lakh. The cost varies across four different variants, reaching up to Rs 10,39,500.
The Himalayan 450 features a liquid-cooled 452cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 40PS and 40Nm of torque. It is built on a redesigned steel twin-spar frame with a Showa 43mm upside-down fork and mono-shock, offering 200mm of wheel travel.
The braking system includes a 320mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The Himalayan 450 is equipped with wire-spoked wheels and offers a ground clearance of 230mm, a kerb weight of 196kg, and a 17-litre fuel tank. The seat height is adjustable between 805mm and 845mm.
Its features include a 4-inch TFT display with Google Maps, LED lighting, USB charging, ride-by-wire, and two riding modes: Eco and Performance.
The event will continue until August 8, 2024, and will be open daily from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
